A gang of Burmese Military joint force have raided the village tract of Doh Ten (Ludaing) in northern Maungdaw in Saturday morning, May 20, 2017. A military base camp has also been established in the village.
According to the reliable source, near about 60-70 members, equiped with modern arms have entered the village and started raiding houses serially. They searched for hand-made tools made with metal like knives, spades, hoes in the houses. All the valuable ornaments and cash money are being looted by the joint forces.
The stock of rice that belong to the villagers are being seized wherever they found. The raiding army members have looted hens, goats, food and burning woods from the villagers.
The Military Barack (Teramo) No.532 beseiged the famous pond namely ‘Vora pond’ in the village of Doh Ten (Ludaing). They have stationed a temporary base camp with plastic, wood and bamboo sticks surrounding the north- south and eastern side of the pond.
The whole battalion were divided into two to three military groups scattered to yards of each houses and kept themselves alert on every house in the village.
The villagers who were arrested have been released this afternoon after proper inquiry.They are passing their days in an unbearable horror situation in their houses.
