Bangladesh wants all the Muslim countries including Organisation of Islamic Countries ( OIC ) to extend their all out support to undertake its Rohingya problem and religious extremism . The OIC, an international umbrella organisation of all the Islamic countries from the ab initio has been cooperating Bangladesh to face all its crises smoothly and also expressed its optimism to get them more nearer in dealing with these challenges in the days to come.<\/p>\n
A responsible official of the foreign ministry said recently that the foreign secretary of Bngladesh, Mr. Shahidul Haque is going to Jeddah to participate a high level meeting of the OIC at the closing ceremony in this month. During the visit, the Foreign Secretary will formally and informally exchange views with senior officials of the Muslim countries participating in the conference as well as joining the session of the high level meeting of the OIC scheduled to be held from 30th April to 2nd May.
\n‘There are a lot of decisions related to different interests of Bangladesh to finalize, especially the issues of religious extremism and Rohingya problem’, the official said.<\/p>\n
According to the information provided by the officials, Bangladesh wants to highlight the issue of Rohingya problem in that OIC meeting. The Burmese Buddists continued their suppression and oppression on innocent Rohingya people with their designed and pre-planned measures as to push them towards verious border areas including Bangladesh. Over the years, half a million of Rohingya people has been getting temporary shelters in Bangladesh.<\/p>\n
Recently, more than 70 thousands Rohingyas have taken refuge in Bangladesh to escape inhuman persecutions. Although the watery Bangladesh provided refuge to Rohingyas for humanitarian reasons, Bangladesh wants a more permanent solution to the problem from the world leadership, especially the Muslim world, in order to increase the pressure on Burmese government.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
