Arakan Watch : August 31, 2026: A group Rohingya refugees in Malaysia extends their heartfelt congratulations to Malaysia on the occasion of its 69th Independence Day.<\/p>\n
We reflect on the sacrifices of the forefathers of Malaysians whose generations are renewing their commitment to building a harmonious and prosperous society.<\/p>\n
We strongly supports Malaysia’ sovereignty and progress, but even though we are not part of Malaysian society, we are said Mohd Rofiq, a Rohingya community activist.<\/p>\n
By the way, we are expecting that the compassion of Malaysian Government would be appropriately apply for setting free of all Rohingya detainees who have been languishing in Immigration Detention camps for years, he further said.<\/p>\n
We also appeal to the Government of Malaysia to kindly extend possible assistance and cooperation to bring an end of Rohingya crisis both in homes and abr, he further said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Finally, they expressed their wishes on Malaysia by saying May Malaysia continue to be blessed with peace and progress.<\/p>\n
