Shan State youth congregated in front of Lashio University and the entrance to Hsipaw town.<\/p>\n<p class=\"unicode\">\u201cMany died in Rakhine State\u201d, explained Nang Bee, one of the participants from Hsipaw. \u201cRakhine students are protesting against it and we stand with them.\u201d It\u2019s not only in Rakhine State, where there are many civilian deaths because of the conflict, she told SHAN. Many are being killed in northern Shan State too and justice is never served.<\/p>\n<div id=\"block-views-85646a690058017c750a53615b149890--2\" class=\"block block-views no-title even block-count-2 block-region-block-inject-adv-1 block-85646a690058017c750a53615b149890 unicode\">\n<div class=\"block-inner clearfix unicode\">\n<div class=\"block-content content unicode\">\n<div class=\"view view-ads-top view-id-ads_top view-display-id-block_inner_leaderboard_a view-dom-id-c09e85bbff5d3c686e20ae53751eb2e4 unicode\">\n<div class=\"view-content unicode\">\n<div class=\"views-row views-row-1 views-row-odd views-row-first views-row-last unicode\">\n<div class=\"views-field views-field-edit-node unicode\">\u00a0The students want the deaths to stop, while highlighting how at least 16 civilians were killed in Hsipaw Township between December 2019 and August 2020.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"unicode\">Citizens of Rakhine State and human rights activists want the government to restore full internet services, which they say is crucial for providing information during the COVID-19 pandemic. After blocking the internet for a long time, the government reinstated it but only allowing the 2G network.<\/p>\n<p class=\"unicode\">Fighting in Rakhine State is intensifying daily and civilian casualties are increasing.
